Maitland Regional Art Gallery (MRAG) is host to a great number of works by Australian and international artists. They offer regular exhibitions, a cafe, gift shop, and art classes for all ages.

This is a great example of a regional art gallery. Frequently changing displays, excellent restaurant (indoor and outdoor seating), engaging gift shop and art lessons for children. I love it. I'm a member and go often. Highly recommended.

MRAG houses several exhibition spaces, featuring curated exhibitions and touring exhibitions from around Australia, as well as local and nationally recognised artists. These spaces change regularly, with new exhibitions at least every 6 – 8 weeks, three exhibitions and installations per year in the Art Factory, MRAG’s children’s art space, and key features of the MRAG art collection on semi-permanent display. A 5 minute drive from Morpeth.
