Ride. Restore. (Re)connect. Picture yourself meandering through the idyllic, mountain-framed grounds of a historic 300-acre farm and forest located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The property is cradled in a pastoral valley with wooded mountains and a bubbling creek, and is home to some of the most stunning flora and fauna in the Eastern US such as goldenseal and spring ephemerals like trillium, violet, and ramps. Our trails wind over hilly oak savannah and gradually climb through mature hardwood groves near the border of Pisgah National Forest. Discover the special relationship between trees and trout, identify wildflowers and other plants and animals, and immerse yourself in an outdoor adventure that will engage all five senses. The 90 minute horseback ride takes place on the Evans family farm in rural Barnardsville, NC. Lovingly referred to as “The Dairy,” the farm was in operation from the 1930s until 2008 and has a history almost as beguiling as the land it’s on. (To boot: it used to sell milk to the famous Biltmore Estate!) We will begin the trail ride by getting to know each other and our horses. After that, we will briefly explore the ins and outs of horseback riding. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or first-timer, a kid or a retiree, it doesn’t matter; anyone can do it. Then we’ll be off, gaining 200 feet of elevation and a lifetime of memories.

Caminata cafetera hasta tres cascadas
Love hiking and coffee? You've found the right place. We have over 300 waterfalls around Brevard and searching different trail websites gets confusing to try and pick which one to visit, so I will make it easy, we’ll visit three of my personal favorites along a 3.5 mile loop. The terrain is mostly even, gravel trail with two steep sections (about 70 yards) that will get your heart pumping, but the views are worth the climbs. To me there's nothing better than slowing down to appreciate the moment in nature with a great cup of coffee (and new friends!). On this hike you will try my locally roasted coffee medium roast, called "Trail Magic". I recently hired the best hiking guides in WNC and we can't wait to lead you on a coffee hike! Here's our plan. 1. We will meet at The Hooker Falls parking area in DuPont State Forest, and hike to Hooker Falls. Here we'll break to brew and share coffee together. You'll learn how to make coffee in the woods including how to filter water from the waterfall. 2. We'll head to Triple Falls. It's up a steep climb but we will take our time and the view is totally worth it. 3. After some pictures of Triple Falls, we'll keep hiking on to High Falls, a stunning end to our adventure. Need a different date or time from what's listed? We have multiple guides, so please send date and time requests and we will do our best to accommodate!
Tour en bici eléctrica por el centro con degustaciones
The people of Asheville put love into everything they do. This is a city surrounded by mountains, which wouldn’t exist without generations of passionate people making amazing things happen. It can be hard to see all of those lovely layers during a trip here, but with our electric bikes and caring guides as your gateway, we’ve crafted a journey into the heart of what makes Asheville special: comforting flavors, sweet smells, hard-learned crafts, handmade instruments, incredible architecture and inspiring views. This is a tour to excite all 5 senses. Our first stop will be at the halls of the Grove Arcade, a masterpiece of local architecture built 100 years ago by E.W. Grove. From there we will ride the quaint streets of the Historic Montford Neighborhood alongside some of the most beautiful grand old homes in Asheville. We’ll then ride down peaceful greenways and stop in at Luella’s Barbeque for a savory snack of your choice – with meat, veggie, and vegan options. Then we start the climb through North Asheville neighborhoods up to the historic Grove Park Inn and take in the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the terrace. On our return we’ll stop to enjoy a treat from French Broad Chocolate Lounge while learning about Asheville’s layered history in the spot where Asheville was originally founded. Our ride will conclude at our 225 Coxe Avenue location.

Haz surf de remo guiado por el distrito River Arts de Asheville
Your guided paddleboard trip begins when you meet your local host in Asheville's River Arts District. We'll drive you up through the heart of West Asheville and point out places to eat, drink, listen to music—spots that locals would know! When we reach the starting point at Hominy Creek Park we'll get you set up with boards and life jackets, and then give you a lesson on how to standup paddle—we're all certified instructors! The trip begins on a protected creek that's calm, shallow, and has a sandy bottom, where you get to paddle through a tunnel of trees before emerging out onto the French Broad River for the 4-mile paddle through town. Your host will paddle right alongside and teach you tricks and how to steer while sharing stories about Asheville's fascinating past. Meet other travelers who are visiting the city, and since the spot where we finish is within walking distance of breweries it's easy to hang out afterwards. Feel free to bring a local beverage for the leisurely cruise down the river, and the 1.5 hour paddle concludes back at the spot where you first met your host. This activity is great for groups! Other things to note: You'll finish back where you parked your car—so you can leave a change of clothes/ towels in your car. No need to bring them on the river. Please be advised there aren't any restrooms; the nearest facilities are at 14 Riverside Dr.

We are excited to offer visitors an experience to get their hands in clay and work on a potters wheel. This hands-on pottery experience will introduce beginners to the magic of throwing clay on a potters wheel in a small intimate setting. Your teacher will patiently guide you along the way. NOTE: From start to finish the process for making a pot takes several days given the need to throw, dry, trim, bisque, glaze, and fire. It's because of the long process of completing a pot that WE ARE NOT ABLE TO OFFER PARTICIPANTS THE OPTION OF TAKING THEIR POTS HOME after just a couple hours in the studio. There will not be a finished pot to take home, pickup later or have shipped to you. You will have a great time experiencing what it’s like throwing clay on the potters wheel! Upon arrival we'll do a tour of the studio and explain the process of making a pot from beginning to end. You will see our wood kiln, and we'll explain how we fire. After the tour, we will roll up our sleeves and put on our aprons. You will be taught basic throwing skills through demonstrations on the potters wheel with step-by-step instructions. After a demonstration, guests will have the opportunity to try the potters wheel on their own and will be guided with techniques along the way. Aprons are supplied. Please wear comfortable clothing you won’t mind getting clay on and have long hair tied back.
