Carl’s house was the iconic “Up House” and the stay was supported by Carl’s friends and Senior Wilderness Explorers Maximiño and David Manzanares. The experience was absolutely incredible and unforgettable. I am grateful for everyone who made the experience possible through the application of their expertise, creativity, and enthusiasm. My daughter and I will never forget the adventure!

We had the privilege to be picked to stay at the beautiful Up house. From the moment we pulled up and Nieta greeted us we knew we were in for a magical time. Upon entering the property David and Maximiño our Wilderness Explorer Camp Leaders lead us into an experience that is so special it is almost indescribable. The friendliness and thoughtfulness of everyone we came in contact with was amazing. From Randy showing us around and giving us wonderful details to our amazing canoe team who showed us a beautiful, peaceful morning on the lake. The wonderful team behind the scenes who made our stay so special and worry free. The details David and Maximiño shared with us about life in Abiquiu and the many adventures they had were amazing. I could not have imagined an adventure as spectacular as the one we were given. The house and details of Carl and Ellie's life together was perfection. It was like stepping into the movie. My husband and I are speechless at the attention and care received.

Our stay was an amazing experience filled with fun activities, memorable experiences, and overall childlike happiness. Carl and his friends did an INCREDIBLE job and made the experience even more worth telling. They made it so special and ensured we had everything needed to be comfortable and get the most of our stay . They went above and beyond and included amazing facts about the surroundings and the house itself . This was an amazing experience and so special . No one is too old to live an adventure. Having a childhood dream come true in your 30s is one of the most amazing feelings in the world. Thank you all so much for making our dream come true and making it even more dreamy and meaningful. Living inside Carl and Ellie’s house, surrounded by family and friends, is truly amazing.
We were astonished by how accurately the house resembled the one in the movie. The scenery and sights were fantastic, capturing the colors and visual details perfectly. Sitting in Carl's sofa chair and looking out the window, we could feel his longing for Ellie—every single object reminded us of her.
The whole experience was well designed, and all the guides and Carl’s friends were enthusiastic, supportive, and friendly. They truly elevated the entire experience beyond our expectations. When Carl and Ellie’s house rise into the sky with all the colorful, magical balloons, I had tears in my eyes. Thank you all and we loved every second of it!
