Pauline’s is an old school diner with booths and tables. It is a neighborhood staple. They have huge omelettes and pancakes. I recommend mend the corned beef hash. Dine inside or outside on the patio where you might see a regular: the parrot man. You will know if you see him.
Open 365 days a year (but closed after 3 p.m.), this restaurant is eclectic and kooky (summertime, a daily customer in the outdoor cafe is Nick, the "bird man" with his two cockatoos) and just basic delicious eggy meals. Pauline and her husband Ron were neighbors who passed away in recent years: with no children, they left the restaurant to their employees who have kept the place as popular as ever.
