National Trust beach under 30 mins drive away; amazing rock pools (sometimes they do tours for little ones) and lovely little cafe. 1.5 mile coastal walk to Warren point (take the ferry across to Noss Mayo for delicious riverside lunch at the Ship Inn).
35min drive. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has enough sand for sunbathing, along with a huge number of rock pools to explore. The waters are clean and have won an award from the Marine Conservation Society and are also fairly shallow. To get a flavour of the local scenery you can take a stroll along the cliff paths, which will take you to Bovisand and Newton Ferrers.

Great whatever the weather. Wembury has rock pools and a little stream. Ideal for toddlers and little kids. The cafe is open in the summer and busy times. The car park is national trust.
