The Ferry will take you over to Southport. A small whaling town, with many restaurants and antique shops if you like that sort of thing. In Southport you can also catch a very to Bad Head Island for the day. Rent a golf cart and explore.

Take the 15 minute ferry boat ride to historic Southport. See where the movie "Safe Haven" the series "Under the Dome" were filmed. Enjoy local seafood specialty restaurants.

Watch the ferry schedule and remember traffic could be an issue and lines to get on during season. Bring bread to feed the seagulls. Beautiful sights on the way to South Port
