They call this the "5-star-dive-bar," because it has the aesthetic of a dive bar, but the food really is outstanding. Good place to try regional beer as well, and is family-friendly.

The self-proclaimed 5-star dive bar is as unpretentious as promised. The kitchen is usually open til 10, but I'd call ahead to be sure if you're looking for a late meal nearby.

The Itty Bitty Bar (known by locals as Five Star Dive Bar) is right up the road and a Holland favorite. They have fantastic food and often have live music on the weekends. Since it is popular they can sometimes be pretty busy so we recommend calling ahead.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This is my favorite place to eat in all of Holland. Kids love it too. Just note, it can get turn into more of a "bar scene" as the night progresses. Sometimes there is live music. When we go with the kids, we go on the earlier side and really love sitting in the outdoor / covered patio.

A Dive bar close to the beach! It normally has a fun atmosphere at night.
