Set on 3 acres the Apollonian is a rustic and welcoming country pub. Locals and visitors come from far and wide to enjoy the famous Sunday spit roast lunch and relax on the wide verandah or in the beer garden.

@ Boreen Point (20 mins drive) anytime, but particularly Sunday lunch 12-2pm: Spit Roast, live music, huge lawn for children to play on, great value ($25). Iconic Aussie pub, licensed since 1868 (in the Gold Rush). Walk down to Lake Cootharaba and watch the sailing club regatta too.
