A peaceful park refuge offering the best access to the Sandia Mountain Wilderness outside of the Tram. Contains miles of well marked trails with mountain views. Expect to see wildlife. There's an interpretive nature trail, bathrooms and several shaded picnic spots. Plenty of parking. Access is $1 weekday and $2 weekends. Great spot to enjoy an evening hike while watching the sunset.
