The Little Mermaid is a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid becoming human. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is 1.25 metres tall and weighs 175 kilograms.

Well, normally it is possible to get a decent hot coffe/tea after walking out there. View over the port, new built modern housing areas built on newly landfill of the habour. It is not a indoor café but yu can sit around the old but still working small lifht house :-)
