Hampton Court (not in London) is a wonderful place to visit... the gardens are immaculate. There is a hedge maze and a woodland walk.

Only 10 mins drive from The Nook. The castle itself is stunning and tours are available, but the grounds are also magnificent. There is a traditional walled garden, an amazing maze, a water garden with waterfall you can walk behind and a cafe in the orangery overlooking the lawns that lead down to the river. Check out their website to see what's on at the time of your stay. Well worth a visit.
