It's hard to categorize this place because it encompasses so many things - bookstore, coffee shop, live music venue, art gallery, indie movie theater. It's the heart of Charleston, both literally and figuratively. Not to be missed.

This book store has been around for ages. It also features an art gallery inside as well as a coffee bar.

Get a coffee & browse Taylor books. It's located right on Capitol Street in Downtown Charleston (10 mins from house) - it's very cute!

Famous small book store, art, coffee, and small theatre. Also, live music on most Friday and Saturday nights.

Neat little bookstore and coffee shop right on Capitol St. Great focus on local subjects and history. Local art Gallery always has something unique to see.
