If you need an emergency room, this is the best one, about 20 minutes away. For more than an overnight stay, however, it is best to be transferred to Long Island Jewish/Northwell in Long Island, which offers higher-level care. Takes all insurance plans, including travel insurance. By the way, ignore the name: you don't have to be Jewish to go there!
