Catch the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train here. You can also catch the BART in the Glen Park and Mission district. Take it through several stops in SF to Berkeley and cities to the East. The 29 bus will take you here. The 8 and 9 buses also stop at BART in downtown

If you are heading to San Francisco or the East bay use the Balboa Park Bart Station. Balboa Park Bart is street parking only. If you are heading south or to the Airport use the Daly City Bart. Daly City Bart has a parking garage.
