Walk or drive on the ferry to Kingston. If walking on, there are many restaurants and shops right off the ferry. If driving for a 1 day trip, drive to Port Townsend. If you like fiber arts, stop in the town of Port Gamble on the way.

Take a ferry from Edmonds to Kingston, the gateway to the peninsula and the Olympic National Park, Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Forks (of Twilight fame), Neah Bay, Cape Flattery, Hoh Rain Forest, Lake Crescent, Sequim, and Quilcene, to name a few.
