Singapore doesn't have any natural resources, we don't even have our own water. Our hunt for water has shaped our international relations and our national conscience. I think it's important for people to understand how precarious a position Singapore is in terms of our survival.

Marina Barrage is a dam built at the confluence of 5 rivers. Officially opened in 2008. Provides water storage, flood control & recreation. It won a 2009 AAEE award.
