Historic place dedicated to alternative, underground and emerging new music talent. Édith Piaf and Django Reinhardt both played here before they became famous. La Java also hosts LGBTQ evenings regularly that are incredibly popular.

Disco. Very very nice place (even if it depends on program), quite mixed! 20-35 years old. €5.

La Java is a very typical old school Parisian club since 1924. It was built in the heart of the popular Belleville area and the building has not changed much since. Warm and intimist atmosphere, with fair prices and mixed crowd. Electro, House, Nu Disco, Minimal, Techno, Electro-Rock...
