I've only added this one as a warning. Its literally full of homeless. Avoid at all costs.

Acquiring booze can require a little more planning here in Utah. All liquor stores are run by the government, so expect government hours and customer service. They cannot sell anything but booze, so you won't find your ice, limes or any other beverages here. Also, nothing is refrigerated, so plan ahead! This particular location is good for people watching - lots of homeless and chaos. There are quieter locations in the Avenues (Underneath Smith's Grocery on E Street/6th) and in Bountiful (city just north of SLC).

Aside from restaurants and bars... Wine, Liquor, and full strength beer can only be purchased at State liquor stores. The liquor store closes at 10 pm and is closed on Sundays and holidays.

These state-run stores are the only place you can buy liquor and wine. They are closed on Sundays.
