A beautiful part of the Townsville to visit. Very scenic drive up from Townsville. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the look-out.
The oldest known building in North Queensland, once the local watering hole and overnight accommodation for bullock teams and the Cobb and Co. coaches, has been transformed to it's former glory. The Hervey's Range Tea Rooms provide scrumptious meals and a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike. Located at the top of Hervey's Range west of Townsville, the multi-award winning Tea Rooms serves a range of refreshments from all day breakfast, light lunches, cakes, slices and the best coffee and scones around.

A magical place about 30 minutes drive from the city. Google it and make the trip because it is absolutely worth it. Keep in mind that weekends are extremely busy so don't arrive overly hungry. Great coffee, traditional big breakfasts and a variety of fresh scones in the most beautiful environment. Suitable for families and bigger parties as well.
Historical display ,old Cobb & Co Stage Post. Cooler than Townsville & great for breakfast
