Halcyon is a trendy place for either coffee or alcoholic beverages. They've got some food options and happen to sit next door to a small market. The area itself (Southtown) is very neat and full of history to explore. Stop by for a coffee and walk the area to soak up some sun and history.

In the Blue Star Arts complex - it a great place to have a coffee after a morning walk along the quieter section of the river in King William. They also have a full bar and a great menu for breakfast and lunch. Not that you would want a full bar option in the morning but, there are those days..... ;-)

Opens early as coffee house with pastries and breakfast sandwiches, then evolves throughout day with sandwiches and salads for lunch, and finally dinner items and a full bar. Cigar and dog-friendly on patio. Located on river, and can easily access from parking lot for a nice, paved stroll along a less touristy stretch of the river walk.
