The Astoria Column 1 Coxcomb Dr Check for current hours of operation Beautiful views of the river and ocean
Just a nine mile drive from the guest suite. Bring $5 for parking. It is worth it just for the view. Climb the 164 step circular staircase to the top of the Column.
If you go to the beach this is a must if you want a little challenge. Climb to the top and check out the view
I never tire of going to the column. The views are amazing and the gift shop has some great Astoria items.
Spectacular views of the Columbia River and Youngs Bay. The Astoria Column is a tower in the northwest United States, overlooking the mouth of the Columbia River on Coxcomb Hill in Astoria, Oregon. Built in 1926, the concrete and steel structure is part of a 30-acre city park.
