This museum is great to walk around in but they also offer an opportunity to travel into the depth of a mine. Loud noises and dark spaces make this appropriate for older kids.

The Britannia Mine Museum: 1 Forbes Way, Britannia. Approximately a 15-minute drive South. Go underground…last century it was a working mine. Now, it’s an award-winning Museum and Canadian Signature Experience. Visit: britanniaminemuseum.ca

This is fun for the whole family and an interesting piece of Sea to Sky history... spoiler alert... a whole village lived up and over the hill above Britannia!
