Maudie's has several locations around Austin, including one quite literally next door to my complex. Its Tex-Mex menu is both classic and inexpensive by modern standards, plus they have an excellent selection of margaritas (including a dozen different varieties on the rocks). Great happy hour deals as well, on both food and drink, including all-day happy hour on Mondays.
