A mixed—but very gay-friendly—crowd keeps this piano bar going. They don’t generally play recent hits like Hamilton, but it feels like you’re at a really fun house party as you gather around the piano belting out classics from Chicago and Little Shop of Horrors. You don’t have to be Pavarotti to show off if you know the songs. Want to hear the Sondheim song of your choice? Stick a buck in the pianist’s fishbowl, and they’ll play it for you. My favorite pianist, Jim, knows that my song is Another Hundred People, and whenever he sees me, he’ll immediately launch into it.

If you like broadway this historic piano bar is the place for you. The pianist only plays show tunes and you're encouraged to gather round the keys and sing along. Always packed, cheap drinks, and a lively crowd.
