The best country pub in Victoria with great food and wine & live music on weekends. Go for lunch or dinner (bookings recommended) or pop in for a casual drink in the historic bar or beer garden.

Head here on Saturday nights for a pub meal you won't forget. On Tuesday evenings they run movie screenings and cook wood-fired pizzas. The staff are second to none.

The hotel has been slowly renovated, refurbished, and resurrected by its current owners. Comfortable, cosy, eclectic and eccentric inside, the choice between the front bar, parlour bar, main dining room, private dining room or laid-back lounge/library is sometimes just too hard to make, especially since each of these offers a crackling fireplace. Often a swaggy band will be playing as you enter through the front foyer. Avast garden around the back for exploring.

The business re-opened on Good Friday, April 2009. Comfortable, cosy, eclectic and eccentric inside, the choice between the front bar, parlour bar, main dining room, private dining room or laid back lounge/library is sometimes just too hard to make, especially since each of these offers a crackling fireplace. The two acres of rambling garden in which to wander includes mature trees, lawns, perennial beds, roses and winding paths.
