For a nice stroll walk left (west) along the beach and pic out your favorite hut along west beach. The beach will be less crowded here during peak season.

Start at Windy Corner Cafe for breakfast or brunch (booking recommended in holidays and at weekends) followed by a long walk along West Beach around to Seasalter. It certainly blows away the cobwebs and is generally quieter than heading towards Tankerton.

There are other, smarter, trendier places. But if you want the locals secret place for cake and tea, come here. Be warned, it's not posh or cool. it's old fashioned, friendly and distinctly real.

A short walk from the cottage, West Beach has a charm of its own, a great place to start a beach walk to Seasalter or beyond or stay and chill on the beach (maybe popping to the welcoming cafe on the caravan site for a tea or something stronger)

This is the dog friendly and estuary walk which takes you away from the town and towards Seasalter. You can swim or simply enjoy the horizon, the wind (which in Winter will be in your face!) and the freedom of a quiet winter walk.
