The MRT station at Tao Poon is very efficient and the best way to avoid traffic jams. This station can take you on the blue line straight in to Chatuchak, Sukhumvit, Silom or on the purple line to various local markets.

Is the start of the purple underground line. Also has a free bus which takes you to the other underground line (takes 5 minutes and runs every few minutes). There's taxis and motorbike taxis there too!
