12km trail that follows the river, from the foreshore coastal walkway to Bell block. Go as far or as short asyou please. Cycle, walk or run through farmland and trees and forget that you are in the centre of the city. Exits to various suburbs along the way as well as to Te Henui Cemetery.

This is a magical way to explore our coastline. Magnificent sunsets and a great place to run, bike or walk slowly. You will see different beaches as you walk around the local coastline. And the dogs love it! People wind surf, board surf and swim. You can bring the dog because we gavd a secure section.

Lovely walkway/bike track close to town, following a stream. The track gets more bush-laden the further up you go.
