Historical Heritage Park with a cafe. Fun to walk around, scooter around for the kids and sometimes has live music, book fairs, festivals, Day of the Dead, theatre or other things happening inside the park.

Founders Park houses a number of historical buildings. A short heritage railway line is operated by the Nelson Railway Society. Several shops operate in the park, selling bakery and other artisan foods, as well as locally-made arts & crafts.
