Cocktail and beer bar on the Square, it's definitely a hipster place.

This bar on the capitol makes good mixed drinks and has a solid beer list. The atmosphere is sort of hipster, with a crowd averaging 30 years old.

A piece of Madison history, this bar (in it's original location) was a meeting spot for radical activists during the 60s protests. Great happy hour with free appetizers and large outdoor patio.
