Whoa! Studios is the only studio open to the public in New Zealand. Watch a live show, play on the urban playground with the giant crocheted climbing net and have a meal at the Grounds family eatery. Getting into the cafe/eatery is free, and the food is delicious, the urban playground is easy to see so the kids can go play. The cost for the kids to get into the playground is around $10NZD, with additional costs for other activities.

If you have kids this place is a must! The hand crafted crochet climbing net which took Japanese artist Toshiko Horiuchi Macadam two years to craft is insane. Also a great adventure playground/pirate fort for this kids. The food is GREAT! dine and drink wine outside while the kids go wild in the playground. win win. There are also kids shows on during the holidays (would need to check website for dates).
