Stow lake is a beautiful place to have a picnic or take a leisurely walk. One of my favorite things to do is to rent a paddle boat and paddle around the lake. There's a huge waterfall, a beautiful pagoda, tons of waterfowl, trees, turtles and other wildlife. It is a really beautiful place to see.
In Golden Gate Park, Stow Lake has a nice path to walk around. There's also rental of small rowboats or pedal-boats. The cafe has hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and snacks. There's usually parking around the lake.
