Caranzalem Beach, located at around 4 km from Panaji is a famous beach thronged by several tourists year-round. This beach is situated to another popular beach, Miramar Beach. It is over 3.5 km long stretch of white sand, with fresh clear water. This beach is totally safe for swimming because it is free of undercurrent. Tourists can indulge in various water sports at this beach, like water scooting, parasailing, water skiing and many more. Some of the famous restaurants and beach resorts of the destination are situated close to this Caranzalem Beach. The beach shacks at this place are known to serve different Goan dishes, along with feni and wine.
