This is a great place to come grab an ice-cream or fish & chips and stroll along the waterfront or just sit down and enjoy the unique view of Melbourne cbd across the water.

Love walks by the sea? Love boats-big and small? Love restaurants? Then head to Gem Pier. Catch the train or the bus and spend the day wandering along the shoreline, have some Fish and Chips, and take a look at the shops.

Take a walk along the historic Gem Pier, tour the navy boat, catch a ferry to the city or St Kilda and watch the seaplane come and go. The nearby Pelicans Landing gives you food with a view!

Everything that made Williamstown the original capital of Victoria is here - lovely little park and rotunda with old sea relics, the Gem pier with its views across the marina to the city skyline, plus the HMAS Castlemaine (a most amazing floating naval museum in a war ship built at the Williamstown dockyards), ferries, seaplane, and great shops. I could spend all day here!
