Thick wooded park, just across the street. Good for a long, quiet hike.

With bridges, streams, and a small trail network, this wooded canyon is a hidden gem. Free and open to the public (during daylight hours).

This is a quiet ravine, that's lush and green all year round. There's a 1.3 mile loop to walk, and it makes you feel like you're not in a city.

There is a tiny parking area at the trail head to Lakeridge Park (also known as Deadhorse Canyon). It's a short and easy hike with lots of streams and bridges. Fun for kids who enjoy the outdoors.
