Fantastic bar with beautiful view of the Santa Justa Elevator - finding the bar is difficult, take the small metal stairs next to the ruins of convent Convento do Carmo, then go down another staircase and it's tucked away on the left.

I always recommend my guests to go to Topo Chiado instead of waiting in the queue of Elevador de Santa Justa - trust me, you will get the exact same view - but while having a glass of wine :)

Topo Chiado is very nice place to relax, enjoy the great view of Santa Justa Elevator and have a drink. They also have another bar at Martim Moniz Square with amazing Castle View.

CHIADO | Rooftop Bar | Terraço / Restaurant | Restaurante Adress: Terraços do Carmo (Chiado) Just like the first "Topo," which opened at the top of a shopping center in Praça Martim Moniz, this second spot also faces the castle, this time on Terraços do Carmo. Open from morning to night, it’s divided into two different areas, one for cocktails on sofas or loungers, and another, up a flight of steps, for light meals. It’s therefore a place for a meal at any time of the day, for cocktails in the sun, or simply for a drink after dinner, always to the sound of a chillout soundtrack.
