Great place to get to know the history of singapore. With permanent and temporary exhibitions, it's one of the best places to spend and afternoon. There's a couple of restaurants on site.

This museum has an excellent exhibit of the history of Singapore from before it was founded into the present day. It leans a bit heavy on the ultimate success story of Singapore, but it's a story well told.
