a great book shop in Paddington. 20 minutes walk, and if you don't find what you're after, head across the road to Berkalou's bookstore.

The big bookstores may be closing, but Ariel is a great place to spend an hour meandering through the shelves.

A specialist in art, graphic design, fashion, photography, architecture etc. 'coffee table' books, signed new releases and giftware. Great for browsing and set the tone for bookshopping for some time
