Michael Dean first openned this restaurant in the heart of Belfast making his brand grow to an extent where he now ownes the Love Fish, Meatlocker, Bistro & Eipic(Michelin Star).

Celebrity Chef Michael Deane serves a range of cuisines from great value lunches to fine dining. For lunch I regularly choose Love Fish . It has a very reasonable lunch menu (£6.50) with daily special of fresh fish and a great a la carte. I always try the Chingri Malai prawn curry, always cooked fresh and packed with flavour.

The place is divided in two, one specialized with fish and one specialized with meat. We are not talking about places which surprise you with combinations of tastes or innovative dish for this type of restaurant, but the food is top notch and the service is dedicated, especially in the "meat locker". "Deanes love fish" is more casual and less expensive. The price is high accordingly.
