The Doria Pamphilj's own mansion, as it was when they lived there (in fact they still do, in a wing of the building). Right off the Via del Corso in the middle of the center of Rome is a spectacular display of the family's art, you'll find both Caravaggio, Vasari and Tiziano on the walls here.
Not as famous as the Vatican, but this museum keeps some of the most valuable artistic treasures in Rome, including Caravaggio and Velasquez. Lovely especially because of the more intimate experience.
In via del Corso, one of the most stunning place in Rome! Absolutely incredible ♥️
It is a little seen Gallery of masterpieces and is housed in the palace, which is still privately owned by the princely Roman family Doria Pamphili. Tours of the state rooms often culminate in concerts of Baroque and Renaissance music, paying tribute to the setting and the masterpieces it contains.
