⭐️ 🚘10mins. Start your walk from The National Trusts ‘Penrose Estate’ donation car park and follow the signs for the route you wish to take. Parking is limited so there is the option to drive further on and start your walk from Helston car park opposite the boating lake (much flatter this end for little ones on wheels). Penrose offers scenic walks, the Loe Bar route is rewarding, take a picnic or enjoy a bite at the Stables cafe

The lake at Loe Bar has a beautiful walk around the penrose Estate. You can park for free near the boating lake in Helston and walk around the lake. It takes about 2.5 hours and goes through woodland and Loe Bar beach

Penrose Estate to Porthleven Walk – a lovely family day out whether walking or cycling. Walk/cycle through the beautiful estate, past the lake and woodlands to the stunning sea view at Loe Bar beach – but DO NOT go in the sea here, it is unsafe. Follow the coast path to Porthleven for an ice cream at Naughty But Ice and back to your car through the village. A great day out!
