Fjellstua has a beautiful view of the city, it also has an amazing restaurant. You can walk from the residence and up the Aksla mountain for about 60 minutes to reach it, drive, or walk up the famous stairs from Byparken (city park).

Since the view is to the west this is a great place to watch the sunset. It is best enjoyed from the top deck or at the little hillside located right behind the Fjellstua building. On nice summer evenings the place is bustling with people and you can feel that summer vibe.

Ca 30 min kjøring fra Skodje finner du Fjellstua utsiktspunkt. Du kan velge om du vil gå dei 418 trappetrinna opp ifra byparken,eller om du vil kjøre den noe smale veien opp. Om du tar trappene, er der også fleire utkikkspunkt på veien. I den tilhørende restauranten får du i tilegg til panoramautsikt kjøpt både mat,drikke og snacks
