The best fried chicken near and far! This place has been featured on many National Food shows.

Country bar serving up famous fried chicken and fried okra. Oklahoma's oldest bar, was started as a territorial saloon in 1896 by Peter Eischen. The bar survived two lengthy closures, caused by Prohibition in the 1920s and a fire in 1993. If visiting on a weekend, expect a 2 hour wait (in addition to the 45 minute drive there and back). Kid friendly, don't let the bar part scare you off.

Well here it is folks... Eischen's has to be on the list because if you visit Oklahoma City and you are trying to check all the boxes this one is definitely on the list but its in Okarche not Oklahoma City so you will need to drive. This is a biker bar and they are renown for their Fried Chicken / Fried Okra. For those of you that check this box you understand Oklahoma City so much better now...
