This is the historic home at Emerald Bay on the lake. You can hike down and take a tour. One of the most famous sights on the lake.

As well as, a now abandon tea house, Fannette Island, Tahoe's only island, is a very cool piece of the past to…

Very Scenic Views of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay and Eagle Falls. Hike down/up to bay about 2 1/2 hours round trip. Nice beach area & pick-nick area at the bottom.

Hotel
“Sunnyside is a great restaurant for a relaxing couple of drinks and appetizers as you look upon the gorgeous Tahoe lake. If you eat here I highly recommend the Fried Zucchini appetizer as well as, for dessert, the Hula pie if you have a sweet tooth! On weekdays they are open 4-8pm, while on weekends they open 11am-8pm. ”

Pizzería
“This is one of the most popular pizza places in South Tahoe and is really good but it is located in Heavenly Village so it is often hard to get a table at peak times. There are also so many other good food options at Heavenly Village so we don't usually get Pizza when we are there but this is a great option for Pizza! ”
