This is my second stay at the historic mansion. I wrote a glowing review on my previous stay and our current stay did not disappoint. If you are looking for a high end AirBNB this is the place. Accommodations as in our prior visit were excellent, beddings were very comfortable and the home itself is well laid out and roomy. Sue our host was kind enough to provide plenty of firewood so we could avail ourselves to the outdoor fire pit where we were able to roast marshmallows for the young ones. Sue also contacted me and advised the home was ready for check in at an earlier time making our check in much more convenient. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Yuba City.

Beautiful custom built home in a quiet foothill setting. Probably the best stocked and equipped kitchen I have experienced at an AirBnB; fruit, snacks, and eggs were provided. Perfect location if you are simply wanting to get away and slow down for a day or two. The owners live in an adjacent building on the property and Anna met me at check-in and did a quick walk through of the house with me, which was very helpful. She was available if we had a need, but otherwise, left us to enjoy our time. Welcoming, friendly hosts and beautiful home in an ideal setting.

Beautiful beautiful home! My family stayed here because it was close by to my wedding venue at Black Oak Mountain Vineyard. Everyone felt comfortable and right at home. The space was very clean and the hot tub was great at the end of the night. Highly recommend to a large family or group

We had a nice stay and appreciated all the guidance on how to best heat the home since it was storming all weekend and it's always challenging to manage heat across three levels. Our only issue was that part of our reason for booking was a two car garage (since we were expecting lots of snow) and only one car can park in the garage.

Absolutely wonderful. We were so lucky to be tucked away in this cozy home during a 3 day snowstorm. This place really had everything our family needed - great beds, comfy couches for movies, sleds for the kids, and our car was safely sheltered from the storm in the garage. Plus, the views are beautiful - we enjoyed happy hours and family dinners while watching the blizzard out of the wraparound windows. If you are skiing/snowboarding with little kids, walking to/from the lifts is a lifesaver. And Lana is one of the most helpful, responsive, and communicative hosts I have encountered. She even helped accommodate us when the roads were closed and we needed to stay an extra night. We felt well taken care of.

This back unit of the duplex gave my family & I the peace and quiet we needed! Off the bat, Alicia the host was welcoming, friendly and excellent in answering my concerns about the house being a duplex with occupants in the next unit. I was worried about noise level. In truth, we didn’t hear or see anyone from arrival to departure. Large screen tv made movie night fun, as well as game night with provided board games. Check out chores was only to load dishwasher, collect used towels and take out trash. The steep driveway, the neighbors and being close to the road weren’t an issue for us. The pool and jacuzzi put us on chill & relax mode upon arrival.

Robert’s place was lovely and just as described! Had such convenient amenities and was super clean! Would stay again!!!
