This is a lovely place! The view was amazing, we actually saw orcas right out the front window one morning, as well as seals on a regular basis! There was plenty of room to have our son and his family come for meals. We had a great time!

We had a great getaway at Jana’s little cottage! The house is very close to downtown and walkable to all the bars and restaurants. The house itself is perfect for a couple or small family. It has a great view of the marina and is a very peaceful and calm place to relax in. Jana was a great host and helped answer any questions we had! Would highly recommend.

Great host and a fantastic spot. We are really looking forward to coming back and having the sauna and cold plunge finished. Cabin was super cool and funky. Lots of charm. Hot tub was perfect. Nice meeting you, Tim. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us.

Brent and Suzy were so accommodating and responsive. Anything we needed or asked about they were quick to respond and incredibly helpful. We appreciated the local expertise. The accommodations had everything we needed and was comfortable. We would stay here again!

We had the most relaxing stay at this charming beach house! Tucked away just steps from the shore, the home strikes the perfect balance between comfort and coastal charm. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home — the interior is warm, tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean. One of our favorite features was the private sauna — the perfect way to unwind after a day by the water. It added such a luxurious touch to an already peaceful retreat. Mornings started with coffee on the deck, watching the waves, and evenings ended with the sound of the ocean lulling us to sleep. Beach access couldn’t be better — literally just a short walk down a quiet path, and you’re there. If you’re looking for a cozy escape that offers both comfort and a true connection to nature, this house is a gem. We’re already planning our next visit!

From amazing communication to more amenities than advertised we were beyond happy with this stay. The house has everything you could need to play in the adjacent ocean or cook or BBQ. We were able to see so many things right from the deck, yard or beach : seals, little deer, bunnies, shells, starfish, clams, crabs, heron and many more. It’s walking distance to a little local pub but call first as tables and even food was limited. Lots of near by hikes through moss filled forests with huge old trees and we even saw a family of bears. Highly recommend this peaceful vacation spot.

Let me tell you, this place was truly something else. For an off grid cottage resort, it felt like home. So Magical and peaceful that words can't really describe it. Both Mark and Cynthia's hospitality was phenomenal. They have truly built a unique resort off grid. Must experience it for yourselves, like I said, words can't describe it other than go visit them. Cynthia made our boys home made cookies that were out of this world!! Mark was so caring making sure we were always comfortable and always had our wood pile stocked. I can keep going and going but I'll end it like this, We will be visiting their lovely cottage again and again. Next time for us will be to experience summer there. Michelle has created a custom retreat with plenty to enjoy. You are surrounded by elevated pieces all while feeling comfortably one with the space. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and the tub was so nice I used it twice during our short stay. Our girls felt the magic of their sleeping quarters, using the desk, cozy reading nook and the canvas tie backs for the bed area with joy. We were well greeted and given a lovely rundown of the ins and out of the beautiful space. A special experience was had by all. Perfect for our family of four. This was our last stop on a multi-legged tour of the eastern side of the island. A haven between hikes, markets, and secondhand bookstores, I am so glad I booked last. True RnR.

You would be very fortunate to stay here at Avis place in Vancouver. Super location with easy access to all public transport. House warm and welcoming, with all you need, home from home. Avi very responsive host and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and will stay again for sure

Stunning views across the Sooke basin from the house and deck and at the various seating areas on the beautiful property. Sunsets from the hottub were top notch! The house was as described and well supplied, we appreciated all the toys and games for little ones as well. As previous reviews mentioned there is some road noise.

Beautiful home the house was stocked with all the basics in kitchen and bathroom-nice outdoor space. Host was super responsive to my technology challenged brain. It was peaceful and loved the pool, pool table and games great family fun! A+

couldn't be happier with our stay. the place was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, washroom and bedroom. you don't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the beautiful views Port Renfrew has to offer haha. can't wait to return with our family and stay at the main house.

Cute little carriage home facing Mount Benson. The views were breathtaking. My husband and I stayed here for 10 days and we loved our stay. Cozy, comfortable, clean. The place was well stocked with everything we needed. The place was bright with natural light. Also, Amber was a very responsive host and communicated well. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

check in difficult for guests from outside the US. With data roaming switched off we were unable to find the latest check in instructions until paying for data roaming. Prior to leaving the UK, with full access to Internet, the instructions had mentioned a key being hidden. We could only find the accurate check in instructions after paying for Internet roaming.

The clean accommodation and amenities provided made for a very comfortable stay. Location on a transit route was a bonus. I would recommend.
