Tour por una granja pequeña en la isla de Skye
We will meet on the Croft, beside the workshop. Signage says ‘shop’. Your tour will begin by introducing you to our animals, sheep, Highland cows and donkeys. You will receive a warm Highland welcome and will gain insight into the daily routines of crofting and the life of our sheep and how we produce ethical wool. We will then enter my workshop where you will gain a brief history of fleece preparation, hand spinning, the reasons and history behind our uniquely hand knitted designs including our famous bespoke fisherman’s Gansey. You will have an opportunity to see our products and understand about Croft sustainability here on the Isle of Skye. A humerous story telling experience for everyone. Other things to note: Bring waterproof clothing as the weather can change quickly. The experience is not suitable for small children. As we are a working Croft, and not a petting farm, we cannot guarantee you will be able to touch any of the animals.

Whisky con historia
Let us start by saying the whisky is optional, drink alternatives are available and the cost of the whisky is not included in the £14. We do this to make the event as inclusive as possible for drinker, non drinker, whisky lovers and whisky sceptics alike. The whisky or drink alternatives can be added on on the day. We meet just off the iconic Royal Mile inside a café/bar called Hot Toddy. We have the entire downstairs area reserved for us, ensuring lots of space for the group. During the course of two hours we will sample four outstanding Single Malt Scotch Whiskies from the four major whisky producing regions of Scotland. We will discus some of the history of Scotland and explore the reasons as to why whisky is now so ingrained as a staple of Scottish culture and we have some great tales from Scotland and the world of whisky to share with you. Other things to note This tour departs promptly and we can not wait for guests who are late. Feel free to turn up at Hot Toddy earlier to enjoy some food or drink before the event starts. People under the age of 18 are not permitted on this tour and exceptions can not be made I'm afraid.

Da mimos a perritos con necesidades especiales en un santuario
You will be welcomed at the Sanctuary by a myriad of barking, happy , tail-wagging special needs dogs. Having gone into the "airlock" [a double safety gate to prevent escapees] before climbing up to the office, the dogs will surround you with wags, wiggles and woofs Once the excitement has settled down a bit you will be able to sit at the picnic tables on the covered decking and have adorable Chihuahuas clambering on your knee, Labradors vying for attention and Gandalf our large Golden Doodledor [ mongrel ] watching the activities from his vantage point on another picnic table. The dogs love all the attention and whilst you are giving them hugs and cuddles I will tell all their stories of how they came to be at the Sanctuary and their special needs and treatments if any. If wanted a short tour of the other animals at the Sanctuary can be included or you can stay on the decking with the dogs and give them a brush or just snuggle with a Chihuahua in your jumper and a Rottie round your neck . Other things to note Warm, waterproof clothing and footwear; if doing more than the Dog Cuddle Experience suggest wellies as the fields may be muddy. Please don't have goodies for the animals as you WILL be mugged for them. They can be left at reception for later treats thanks
Sesión de fotos para parejas en las Highlands
We will take a little roadtrip through the landscapes of Glencoe and Glen Etive to the best spots for photos which means you will get to do some sightseeing too and go to some spots others can't find! I will have my car and you will follow me in your own transport to the beauty spots for photos. The whole experience will be roughly 3 hours depending on where we go. I will give you some guidance on poses but generally I love to keep it as natural as possible. It's just a small documentary of your trip to the highlands! Included in the price is an online gallery with your edited photos that are downloadable for use and shareable on social media. I will send this via email in roughly 2/3 weeks. Other things to note It's nice to wear something that compliments the environment you are in. Please don't hesitate to dress up if you want, if you need any hints or tips please message me! The weather is very changeable in the mountains but I do go out in all months, seasons and weathers. My top tips are wear sensible shoes, bring layers and in summer something for the midges if you need it.

Conoce a unos burros maravillosos
You will visit the donkeys at our timber stables, close to Crockatinney Cottages, located between Ballycastle & Ballintoy. You will spend time grooming the donkeys, learning how to halter them safely and efficiently, before taking them on a walk along the private trails. We will discuss positive reinforcement as a method of establishing clear lines of communication. We do this using treats, bags of which are provided as part of the experience. You will enjoy a short history of donkeys, the role they played in Irish society historically, and hopefully develop an affection for these mild mannered, docile creatures. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and we will get competitive doing an in-hand gymkhana in the sand school. We will return to the stables where you will unhalter the donkeys and fetch them their feed.
Visit Fort William and Glencoe mountain range by car
We will take a drive to Ben Nevis and the historic and ancient town of Fort William, here the site of two major battles that shaped the Scottish Lanscape. The first in 1431 where King James himself led an army well in excess of a 1000 fell to the sword or axe with the second battle of Inverlochy in 1645, known as the battle of the three kingdoms. We will be passing through the amazing Cairngorm Mountain range, to the north of Loch Lomond, in your own time and agenda with options for stops along the way. We will meet at 10am, travel to Loch Lomond stopping at Luss by around 12 pm where you can have lunch. Journeying on around 1pm following the west aspect of Loch Lomond with breath-taking views on our way up to the glacial and awe-inspiring Glencoe Mountain range. We should reach Fort William circa 3:30pm. Along the way we can stop at the Falls of Falloch a waterfall secluded pool to enjoy a peaceful rest. Then we can journey home, with the option of visiting a fully equipped farm shop I found along a previous tour. They stock a wide variety of quality local fair, from red meat, foul and fish to beers, wines, cheeses and chutneys. We should be home for around 7pm.

Cata de cervezas bajo tierra
We'll start off with our 1st beer and a tour of our building, a 16th Century prison and courthouse. We have some original features untouched for hundreds of years. We'll make our way down to the hidden vaults under our building, where you'll try a selection of 4 other local beers in the most hidden tasting room in Edinburgh! Along with learning about the beers from an expert guide and the history of brewing in Edinburgh, participants will get to see the secret rooms hidden in the old prison, as well as stories of prisoners who were held here, the dark and grimy history of Auld Reekie, and how beer shaped the way we live our lives today. Other things to note Please be aware that the vault is accessed via about 20 steps- there is no lift/ramp access to the lower level. Check-in with reception staff at The Hostel above
I am offering you a hands on, fun, taster session on how to spin wool on an old fashioned wheel, using locally sourced fleece. If the weather is good we can sit outside in my croft house garden surrounded by stunning scenery, just off the North Coast 500 route. When you arrive I will invite you to come and meet my small flock of friendly sheep where we can start the journey from sheep to jumper. There will be Tea, coffee and cake and an introductory chat with examples and questions answered. We will set up wheels and talk through how all the equipment works. Wool preparation is important and I will show you how to skirt a fleece and which parts of the fleece are the best for spinning. Spinning is a craft that takes time to learn but in my taster wool workshops we can delve into the basics of setting up a wheel, learning to card wool in preparationn and experience the first steps in producing yarn using a "lazy kate", or a "noddy noddy". Support and guidance will be on hand at all times, if needed. All abilities are welcome. I can teach up to 2 guests at a time. Other things to note This experience will be held in my home and I have 3 collies, sheep and hens. Please let me know if you intend to bring a dog. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
