“Located just down Monroe Street, I’m at The Coupe at least once a week! They do coffee and pastries to-go ($3-$5), as well as sit down breakfast ($15pp), lunch, and dinner. It’s pretty big so there isn’t usually a wait (Sometimes for brunch), and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out! ”

Bar de vinos
“This place is pretty popular right now. It has a high end feel, but you can still wear a button down or dress/jeans. You often will see exotic cars parked out front and the clientele reflects that. If you are in DC on a cool night, appetizers are excellent out on the front patio. High-end cocktails are the norm, but you may see some of the younger crowd line up some shots later in the evening. ”

“One of the most popular restaurants in DC and close by! This places is on the pricy side but well worth it! It serves eclectic “New American” small plates menu crafted in a cozy, converted townhouse with upstairs bar. No reservations, so we recommend going early or, if there’s a way, putting your name on the list and grabbing a drink nearby. ”

It serves breakfast sandwiches all day (!), has good coffee (with latte art), and a variety of other sandwiches/salads after 11 am. There is metered parking available.”
