This is a beautiful hand made treehouse, created by a local bamboo craftsman and designed by the host. I slept extremely well, it was so peaceful, fresh air and no mosquitoes. The host made me feel very welcome, making a delicious breakfast and Balinese coffee each morning. Fireflies at night, can see the coast way off in the distance beyond the beautiful rice Paddy fields on your doorstep. The private outdoor heated shower is hot in seconds thanks to a gas heater. Comfy beanbags to relax on the downstairs porch or practice yoga on the deck. beautiful temples nearby with waterfalls and a restaurant and spa just across the road. If you've ever wanted to stay in a treehouse, like Robinson Crusoe, but like comfort, then this is a must experience. Host also has a new luxury villa nearby with private pool that she showed me. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to spend a few days. The building itself is just beautiful, especially the top floor. The swimming pool is well kept. There are two accommodations that share the pool, but we were the only ones there when we arrived. Balian Beach has a very laidback surfer scene. Casa Balian Cafe has soms of the best pizza I ever had!

Loved our stay! Made is a wonderful host, super attentive and thoughtful. The room was really cool, loved the bath tub! Private views of the forest, so cool. The sound of the waterfall, birds & bugs was so nice. 10/10 would recommend.

Kadek and his family were the loveliest hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was divine. The level of care put into the tree house and the luscious garden and secluded pool is unreal. Thank you !

We loved our stay in the treehouse with Firefly, all the staff are super friendly and proactive in helping you out. The treehouse had its own charm, with it being half outdoors, especially the living room (which on my part I had no fully noticed from the photos on the listing but that was my fault) but otherwise it was a lovely stay, there are mosquito nets and fan so you won't get too hot or get bitten by mosquitos in the night. We also loved the cats in Firefly ecolodge, will definitely come back and stay again if we are ever in Ubud. And shout out to the staff Putu, she was lovely and welcoming :)

My husband and I had the most relaxing time during our stay here. The room was incredible - it was our own private treehouse. Everything was great, from the outdoor tub overlooking the mountains, the view and sound of the waterfall from our room, to the hammock off the balcony. We got a head/upper body massage on the property and it was the best massage I’ve ever gotten. The restaurant has amazing views, good food and the friendliest staff. There’s a waterfall you can walk down to directly from your room which was nice! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to relax in nature. I did see a tick on the toilet seat (which can be expected, you’re in nature) so just be careful to check yourself. Wonderful spot all around!

We fell in love in Desa Eko from the moment we stepped in and felt right at home at our Avocado Tent greeted by their friendly and attentive Team at the restaurant where we enjoyed our daily breakfast and delicious dinner with satisfying vegan options prepared with local ingredients. Expect genuine hospitality, proactive staff, free mini bar soft drinks, house chocolate bars replenished daily 🤗 and if you come in season, right at the entrance, delicious fresh durian from the Munduk Valley the island should be proud of sold by the friendly vendor. Communal showers are clean with abundance of piping hot water, best enjoyed after dark to the tune of cicadas. Fireflies light up the night and nearby waterfalls trail is a treat to any nature lover and avid fruit hunters like us who delighted in abundance of avo and jackfruit trees, impressive vanilla beans and cloves grown on the grounds. Be prepared to burn calories climbing up and down the steps. Basic level of fitness is a must.

It’s like a paradise! Although there are inevitably some small insects, mosquito repellent is provided. The staff here are really nice！

Det smukkeste sted at bo. Søde, smilende og meget imødekommende værter og personale. Vi havde udfordringer med vores fly, men var hele tiden i dialog med værterne, som sørgede for at alt var klar til os, da vi endelig kom. Lækker morgenmad. Vi kan samtidig anbefale naboen Ketut som chauffør. Han er super sød og imødekommende (og god chauffør) Alt i alt en helt perfekt oplevelse, på det smukkeste sted, med de skønneste værter .

One of the most amazing places I've stayed while traveling the North of Bali. I spent the New Year's Eve there and it was unbelievable peaceful stay. The mountains, jungle view is just amazing. If you seek for a place to disconnect, this is the right spot for you. Down at the property is star of a trail where you can visit 5 waterfalls on the way, definitely worth of doing. What I really appreciate was the restaurant and staff there. The food was super nice and people super helpful and kind, always smiling. I would definitely choose this place again.

Nous avons adoré les deux nuits passées ici pour visiter Nusa Penida. Le lieu est vraiment très charmant ; à la fois rustique et atypique ; les logements bâtis autour des arbres, la très grande piscine, l’espace commun ombragé, il est très agréable d’y séjourner. L’équipe est au petit soin et extrêmement sympathique, toujours de bons conseils, avec des recommandations en accord avec ce que vous cherchez et une liste très complète des bons plans de Nusa Penida vous sera communiquée. Ce logement est aussi un EXCELLENT rapport qualité-prix ! N’hésitez pas à louer un scooter (plutôt puissant type N-Max) pour visiter les environs de l’île. Et enfin, testez les pancakes à la banane du petit-déjeuner, un vrai régal ! Merci encore à toute l’équipe.

This place was absolutly amazing! Yes, you may see a few ants but my time in the top bungalow, I had no problems with any critters. The staff is absolutly amazing and super friendly. The Saturday family style dinner was delicious and an amazing way to meet other travelers. If in Ubud again I will stay here for sure!

Schön eingerichtete Zelte auf Plattformen in den bewaldeten Bergen Balis, angenehm erfrischende Abkühlung nach einem Aufenthalt im Süden oder in UBUD. Wasserfallwanderung vor der Haustür sehr zu empfehlen, genug Zeit einplanen es gibt lokale Cafés und Gewürzhändler auf der Wanderung und sehr viele Treppen. Sehr freundliches Personal die einem Unterstützen bei Transport oder anderen Anliegen. schönes Lokal für Frühstück und Abendessen. Abends sogar mit Lagerfeuer.

Putri is incredibly hospitable and communicative. The staff went above and beyond with all my requests, ensuring my stay was both enjoyable and comfortable. The lodge is extremely beautiful and one of a kind with stunning views and a peaceful/relaxing vibe. The interior is designed beautifully with unique features that you won't find elsewhere. We stayed in a tree house and we absolutely loved it. My 9yo son saw a green chameleon and tree frogs. This made his trip and he was very sad when we left. The food was really good and the quality was there - we ate in-house at the resort restaurant every meal, as every dish was scrumptious. The staff was very flexible and helpful. We visited the near-by waterfall, and went to the Batur mountain and lake for a drive with a car organised by the resort. One of the male staff, Wayan, took my son numerous times around the resort to explore the wildlife, and this friendship was my son't favourite part of the trip. We had a dream holiday, thank you Sebatu Resort staff! We will be back. :)

Beautiful interior and the silence was welcome after coming from the other side of Canggu

We had a great experience staying at Kelibun homestay. First of all the ambience - you are in a green oasis surrounded by nature sounds. Welcoming hosts - were so nice to give us a lift to the motorbike rental (they suggest bikes at their place but occasionally the one had just been broken the day before), cooked tofu scramble specially for me and gave us a try of boiled peanuts (never cooked it like this before). The bungalow is simple but really awesome, with a handful of tiny details. The fans were absolutely enough and we didn't have any inconveniences without AC and hot water in the shower. What I was worried about were insects as the territory is like a jungle. But surprisingly I hardly saw any (except caterpillars which are common during the rainy season and they are everywhere). I liked waking up with the birds singing and sitting on the porch in the evening. We will definitely stay at Kelibun homestay once we decide to come back to Penida
