Brenda’s cabin was a lovely place to stay right by the lake. I would definitely recommend for both summer and winter.

We booked with Julia & Craig very last-minute and later in the day when weather conditions prevented us from reaching our initial rental in Truckee. They were highly-accommodating, very responsive, and in less than an hour of booking we were getting settled in at their rental. The house itself was beautiful and well-maintained, and much nicer than what we were expecting to get for a day-of booking. Check-in was seamless and their instructions were clear and comprehensive. We will definitely be booking with Jule Vacation Rentals again if we're ever in the area. Thanks Julia & Craig!

Nicole and Cam were great hosts! Super responsive, informative, and friendly to talk to. Their place was very cozy, clean, and perfect for a couples get away in beautiful Lake Tahoe. The balcony was my favorite and had a peaceful view. The fenced area in the backyard was also perfect to take our dog out to run around. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house is incredibly spacious, including the garage, and was spotless upon arrival. Check-in was seamless, as the hosts provided clear instructions well in advance. The home had everything we could possibly need, making our stay even more comfortable. Our toddler loved having so much space to run around, and our dogs enjoyed the fenced backyard. The location is also excellent—just 5 minutes from the nearest doggy daycare and 15 minutes from Heavenly. We’d love to stay here again next time we’re in the area!

Super spacious space, and very conveniently located near Palisades. Dave’s instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Kitchen had a bunch of appliances, pans, and small pots for us to use which was great. Bathrooms were stocked, and the convenience of having an in unit washer dryer was great. The space overall was much bigger than we had thought, and beds were comfortable to sleep in. We would love to come back one day!

Stayed for a weekend getaway in the mountains. This property did not disappoint, the backyard area is lovely and we spent plenty of time on the back deck enjoying the birds and quiet of the forest.

Staying at Milan’s place was a very special time for our group. We enjoyed the energy of the home, the decor, space, and natural light. We loved the overall vibe with the fireplace and record player too! The area is gorgeous, in a peaceful and nature filled neighborhood just minutes from downtown Nevada City. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood and many nights cooking together and relaxing and talking by the fire. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The only downside was that we do wish the home was a bit cleaner and more organized. However overall happy we stayed here and would love to return. Nevada City is a special place!

absolutely loved staying here! perfect location, has everything that you need. everything works perfectly, enough blankets and cooking supplies. best location ever too. everything you need is just a short walk away, shops, restaurants and grocery store. will definitely look into staying here again next time i’m in town!

We really enjoyed our stay in Tahoe City. Our accommodations felt like a home away from home, so we were able to enjoy some family time away. It felt safe and secure. The kids found the games late during our stay, and want to come back to enjoy them and the home.

Professional housekeeping ensures a spotless stay, and the cozy sofa bed and high-quality mattress guarantee restful nights. Plus, the excellent soundproofing made it a truly peaceful retreat, especially appreciated by our family with young children. The host was exceptionally responsive and friendly, providing clear instructions and demonstrating flexibility with check-in/check-out times.

Elizabeth’s place is fantastic! It is right in the heart of Northstar Village, so it is super easy to get to everything. It is literally steps away from where the check in location is located and very convenient to drop offs / pick ups for the village. Getting to the gondola, epic gear rentals, and all of the restaurants are just a few minutes walk away. And her place is so cute- great furnishings and details throughout. Plus, Elizabeth was so responsive and nice throughout the entire experience. Such a great host- I would definitely recommend!

Awesome spot in the Northstar Village. Great for family looking to make it easy to get the kids on the mountain without driving and parking. Absolutely recommend and we will be back. Easy access to everything in the village and love being across from Cooper provisions, the local store with everything you might have forgotten (food, coffee, sunscreen, drinks, etc) There is a washer / dryer on the floor of the condo but bring quarters as those were hard to come by in a cashless Northstar ;)

Peggy's place was a charming getaway. The garden area was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing under the stars in the hot tub at night. The town itself is beautiful and looks like a fairytale suspended in time. Peggy was a great host and we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely loved it. Location along the lake was special. Walkable/ very runnable area. Very clean and cozy little spot and felt very private.

Missy’s place is very cozy and nice. It’s about 20 minutes from palisades, perfect for our ski trip. I’d recommend anyone for a great stay

Stayed here with a group of friends - lots of beds so we each got our own, which is rare. The house was well stocked - kitchen, towels, etc. We enjoyed using the indoor/grotto hot tub. Cute shops & restaurants in the area (15-20ish mins). Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay at Hollie's was awesome! The property is beautiful and so peaceful. We had fun fishing in the pond with our grandkids. The house is very nice. The view from the master bedroom is amazing actually the view from all the windows is beautiful. The bed was super comfortable. We loved gathering on the deck in the evening and the hot tub was very relaxing. Rob and Hollie are great hosts, they went out of there way to be very accommodating. The only downside was we couldn't stay longer. I would highly recommend Hollie's place.

Looks exactly as pictured and Steve was always nearby if we needed help figuring anything out with the house. It is a very large home with a beautiful view. Used the hot tub and pellet stove almost every night. It was the perfect escape for the holidays with our family. Enough space that family could rest while sharing the home with an infant.

If you’re looking for an incredible “experience stay” this is the place! Built to entertain family and friends, all who walked through the door felt immediately at home and in awe of this property. We didn’t want to leave!!! Some family genuinely wished it was for sale! While the photos are stunning it still doesn’t do the incredible scale and comfort of this property and home justice. No detail was missed! I hope we get the opportunity to stay here again in the summer but it did make an ideal luxury rental for Thanksgiving. Thank you Kolesar family!

My family really enjoyed staying at Sam’s place - the pool was perfect, the house was super clean and comfortable, Sam was responsive with answers to our questions, the beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were spotless. The open space right next to the house was a highlight for taking morning walks.

Very charming cabin, spacious very clean. We loved the feeling of being in the woods but only a couple minutes from the lake and all the towns attractions. Would definitely recommend & would definitely stay again.

Our organization recently held our semi-annual retreat at Clayton’s Place in Glass Valley, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the serene environment and incredible accommodations. Every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While it’s worth noting that there are only two showers available, the overall experience far outweighed this minor detail. The property is a gem, featuring amazing amenities such as a hot tub, pool, barbeque, and a variety of games thoughtfully provided by Clayton. The karaoke machine was a hit, and the private property’s peacefulness made it easy for us to connect as a group. The easy access to hiking trails and nature further enriched our experience. Clayton’s Place was perfect for our needs and offered the ideal balance of comfort, fun, and tranquility. We wholeheartedly agree that this is one of the best options for group getaways, and we look forward to staying here again!

We loved our stay here! The house is super comfortable--even nice than the photos. The real standout is the pool. It's beautiful and incredibly relaxing. We really enjoyed our weekend here--the house is well-stocked and welcoming, the grill works great, and the pool is lovely. Even though it was hot while we were there, the bedroom ACs & fans cooled the house down at night. The location is great--close to tons of nearby short hikes and river access points. Some friends even drove to the Yuba for the day (about 45 mins), but you can get to some stunning parts of the American River in about 15 minutes. Nearby markets as well! Anna Maria is a wonderful host as well. She communicated lots of useful information with me leading up to our stay and was available throughout, even fixing a hot-water issue immediately while we were there. Such a lovely and kind host :). Her home is adjacent to the property but it still felt like we had a private stay. Highly recommend staying here!
